Recreating A Music Video Shot

In recreating a music video shot, we choose the pop sensation Adele and her music video 'Chasing Pavements'. We chose to replicate the shot which shows a close-up of her face next to a tree with leaves behind her. We studied  and analysied the shot type (2:25-2:29) whic was a sweeping pan shot to see if we could replicate it as close as possible and knew what we were dealing with.

After analysing the shot, we realised that we would need obviously an area with a tree in it to recreate the shot well. We also decided that we wanted to make our shot look like the one above as close as possible which meant that we would need to pay close attrention to Adeles costume, hair and make-up as much as possible. We also need some-where thats low lit so that we could recreate the half lit face perhaps with lighting that is availableto us. Doing a few test shots on location and just to see if we could recreate the shot and what equipment we would need would be useful to see how we are going to so the shot. This exercise/ mini task is very effective in research and practice for when it comes to shooting our real music video, and how to do a simple shot that is very popular in the making of music videos.
